A Lifetime of Reassurance With Our Luxury Garden Furniture
The Bri-Stor Group becomes The HEX Group in 2022
Big or small, long or short, wide or narrow – no two gardens are the same. And neither are the storage needs of the average British home owner. Some of us use our metal garden storage as a proverbial dumping ground for all those forgotten cushions, kids bikes with flat tyres and broken seats, bags and bags of potting compost that every year get forgotten and every year get replaced. And what about the paint tins? Every shed, in every garden up and down the country is home to that tin of paint – just in case a ‘touch up’ is required.
Half the problem, is that until recent times, a shed was just a shed. – a vacuous cavern for all those odds and ends that can’t be squeezed into a kitchen cupboard – the garage overspill if you will.
To overcome your garden storage challenge, it’s important you begin by choosing the right metal garden storage for you and your garden. The job should really start with a massive declutter and only then, assessing what sort of storage you need.
Walk-in Metal Garden Storage
Typically, a shed can be walked into and has a closing door. Perfect if you’ve got a tonne of space and have loads of things to store. What you need to avoid though is the typical situation where the shed is narrower than its width. In this situation you typically end up pushing everything to the back and the only accessible stuff is what’s directly in front of you. We recommend that when you’ve done your de-clutter and laid out what you need, have a look at our Hixon range. This is what we’d describe as the classic shed – but ours comes in a range of five sizes with varying depths and widths to make sure you can access every corner of your shed from centrally opening doors. Not only do the doors look nice, they make getting bulky items in and out super easy.
The other alternative to the Hixon is the Weston. If space is tight in your garden yet you’ve still got lots to store, then the Weston is a great solution. Perfect for townhouse or terrace gardens where you don’t have the space for a large shed. It’s still got the two doors that can be fixed to either 90 or 120 degrees, so access is simple when you’re manoeuvring your patio set or BBQ.
Deck Boxes and Horizontal Storage
Don’t automatically think large garden storage needs to be a shed. Quite the opposite, we’ve designed a range of top-opening storage options that pack a massive storage punch but aren’t quite so, sheddy. Our Bromley storage solution is still big, you can easily store three wheelie bins, but it has the scope for bikes, garden tools and patio sets, golf clubs and garden toys. It’s a mighty storage option, and your neighbours will love if you’re using it to disguise your bins!
Coming down a size is the Chartley. We love the Chartley, it’s not too deep that you can’t get to the bottom when you’re reaching in, but if gives you enough depth that you can easily store cushions and toys. It’s perfect if you’ve got a small garden and you need to store your garden and DIY clutter, or it’s perfect as an easy add-on to one of our larger storage solutions.
We love receiving your metal garden storage transformation pictures, so send us your pics and we’ll also enter you into our monthly draw for one of our lovely Hanbury planters.
