- Warranty: The Warranty covers any defects in manufacturing and materials for the lifetime of the product for metal parts only. It excludes cushions, parasols, pergola blind kits, and outdoor heater components. Defects include faults with workmanship or materials that impair the use of the product. The warranty does not cover defects arising from improper installation or use, use outside its intended purpose, wilful or negligent damage, vandalism, abuse, or reasonable wear and tear. This warranty does not cover any HEX Living products that are being used for commercial use.
- Activation, Duration, and Content of Warranty:
- The warranty must be activated by completing the online registration process. A confirmation email establishes the start date.
- Registration must occur within 8 weeks of purchase.
- Proof of purchase must be retained and provided upon request.
- Purchase must be made through an approved retailer or hexliving.co.uk.
- The Warranty is non-transferable and invalidated by disassembly and reassembly.
- Scope of Warranty:
- Warranted for rusting through of sheet metal items.
- Weathering effects are considered acceptable wear and tear.
- Valid warranty claims receive free replacement parts; other costs are to be borne by the Buyer.
- HEX Living assumes no liability for consequential costs.
- Installation:
- Proper installation proof required for validation.
- Warranty invalidated if:
- Installed within 500m of the seashore.
- Not on a firm, level base with adequate drainage.
- Not adequately anchored or positioned.
- Limitations:
- Excludes defects from assembly errors, unpainted surface damage, wear and tear, colour changes, lack of maintenance, improper cleaning products, and third-party alterations.
- Claims:
- Claims made must include defect description, affected part photographs, wider product photographs, original purchase receipt, and Product Serial Number.
