Martin joined the business in 1998 and took over from his father as CEO in 2007. Under Martin’s leadership, the Group has grown significantly and today is recognised as the market-leader in the sectors we serve. Launching HEX Living, as a division of Alpha Manufacturing, is completely aligned to the Group purpose – to make products that are the best available in the markets we serve, delivered with unrivalled customer service. Martin is Chairman of the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce Manufacturers Forum and as CEO is completely committed to the continued investment in our world-class production facility and the development of our people. Annually the Group also recruits 25 Apprentices and Higher Apprentices.
Paul Clews
Managing Director
Paul joined the Group in 2010 and is instrumental in the evolution and development of HEX Living. With an engineering background, Paul is an expert when it comes to the delivery of our world-class range of products and leads a 200-strong team of manufacturing and engineering professionals. A keen advocate of Made in Britain, Paul is committed to showcasing the best of British manufacturing through our range of luxury garden furniture and metal storage solutions.
Rupert King
Retail Sales Manager
Rupert has worked in the outdoor living and leisure market for over 20 years, having previously owned a business manufacturing quality, wooden outdoor furniture. Supplying garden centres, large retail chains and the education sector, Rupert is a true expert when it comes to understanding the needs of British consumers looking for quality outdoor furniture and storage solutions. Following the sale of his business in 2018, Rupert now brings his extensive knowledge to HEX Living.
